Oxidative Therapies (IV Ozone, Hydrogen Peroxide & UVBI)

Oxidative Therapies Course Objective

To administer oxidative therapies: Ozone, Hydrogen Peroxide and UltraViolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI); effectively, efficiently and safely by providing the practitioner with the knowledge and hands on training to maximize learning in a clinical setting.

Format

The course is taught with the intention of maximizing learning by incorporating lecture format, audio visual aids, behavior modeling, case studies with discussions, role playing and action learning. We emphasize hands on learning to accelerate skill development. We provide quick reference charts for your IV and injection suite. We do not just want knowledgeable Doctors, we want effective, efficient, safe, and successful Doctors.

Lecture

Includes PowerPoint presentations.

Learning Aids

The Ozone Procedures Chart and The UVBI Procedures Chart.

Action Learning Practicum

Administration of one Ozone (major autohaemotherapy) and/or one UVBI treatment.

The Program

The Oxidative Therapies Course (Ozone, Hydrogen Peroxide and UV Blood Irradiation) takes place over two days. During the two days we cover the history/background information of the individual treatments, the different applications of each treatments, the necessary equipment for the treatment, case studies and hands on experience. Extensive background information is given on IV ozone, which provides the necessary foundation for Hydrogen Peroxide and UV blood Irradiation. The mechanism on IV ozone is taught in great detail, in order to provide an understanding of the treatments, its adverse side effects and the potential harmful complications. Case studies are presented and discussion is encouraged. In order to facilitate learning, hands on experience is required and all attendees get to administer one IV ozone and one UVB treatment. As we are all well aware, what is taught in the classroom is different from the practical application and the seminar takes this into consideration. By ensuring hands on experience the practical aspects and possible worse case scenarios of the treatment can be dealt with in an environment with knowledgeable staff that will walk the attendee through the appropriate steps. We provide the contact information for the suppliers and have various other suggestions necessary for the implementation of these treatments in a responsible manner. All materials provided are extensively referenced and quick reference charts are provided to guide Dr’s through the process efficiently and effectively.
